Hi all,

We have been doing a total redesign of our homepages www.myspace.com/malrundk and www.malrun.dk to create a graphic match towards the musical style on the new album. The Danish design agency Spektr has just launched a new version of www.malrun.dk and soon our myspace will be updated as well – so stand by for more. The designs and artwork on the homepages have all been made by Spektr and it’s become truly amazing stuff. We think a truly unique Malrun universe has been created to reflect the emotions of our music. The photos of us dressed in fancy clothes are shot by the skilled Danish photographer and Nicon ambassador Morten Rygaard.

We have decided to release a couple of teasers for you guys so that you’ll get a little taste of what to expect on the Malrun debut album (“Beauty in Chaos”). We expect to release the album in either Summer or Autum 2010, but until then you’ll be able to listen to the teasers on our homepages (the teasers are basically short extracts from some of the songs on the new album). These teasers will allow you to at least get a sense of the huge leaps that Malrun has taken on the new album both when it comes to style, song-writing and technical skills. The album is a lot more metal than our previous music (because we can’t help it…..it’s a natural instinct we guess), yet at the same time the vocals and lead guitar melodies are definitely more catchy and melodic than ever before – and it is a kick ass combination:-) We simply can’t wait to share the album with you guys, and hopefully these teasers will ignite sparks in you and make you want to hear more…
As you might now, the new album is produced, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, The Storm, Mercenary, Raunchy, Dúné), and we are really happy with the production. Hope you’ll enjoy the teasers:-)
